Wheeky: Guinea Pig Planner ("we", "our", or "the App"), developed by Kerem Türközü, is designed with a strict privacy-first and local-first architecture. We believe your pet care routines, health records, and daily photos belong solely to you. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled, stored, and protected when you use our iOS application.

Summary: All your guinea pig profiles, weight logs, feeding schedules, vet notes, expenses, and photos are stored locally on your device using Apple's modern SwiftData framework. We do not operate external servers to collect, sell, track, or share your personal care data.

1. Information We Collect and Process

Wheeky collects only the data you explicitly input to manage your pets' daily care:

2. Device Permissions & Hardware Access

To provide full functionality, Wheeky may request specific iOS system permissions:

• Photo Library & Camera: Used exclusively to let you assign avatars to your guinea pigs or attach visual records to pet profiles. The App only accesses photos you explicitly select. These images remain on your device and are never transmitted elsewhere.
• Local Notifications: Used to deliver timely reminders for feeding, spot cleaning, deep cage cleaning, medication schedules, and periodic weight checks. All notification triggers are scheduled locally by the iOS system. No device push tokens, schedules, or personal details are collected or transmitted to external servers.

3. Data Storage, Security & Ownership

Your data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework within your device's secure sandbox.

• Local Ownership: You retain complete ownership and control of all pet data and photos entered into the App.
• No External Databases: We do not operate external database servers or cloud storage where your pet care history or personal notes are uploaded.
• Device Backup: If you use Apple's standard device backup (iCloud Backup or encrypted local Mac/PC backup), your Wheeky app database is included in accordance with Apple's secure operating system backup protocols.

4. In-App Purchases and Financial Information

If you upgrade to Wheeky Pro or purchase in-app items, all transactions are processed securely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework.

• We do not collect, process, or store credit card numbers, bank account information, or billing addresses.
• All financial transactions are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and App Store Terms of Service.

5. Analytics, Advertising & Tracking

• No Third-Party Trackers: We do not include third-party advertising SDKs or data broker trackers.
• No Cross-App Tracking: We do not track your activity across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or rent any user data.
• App Store Diagnostics: If you have opted in to share diagnostic and crash information with app developers through Apple's system settings, Apple provides aggregate, anonymized crash reports to help us resolve bugs and improve app stability.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full authority over your data at all times:

• In-App Deletion: Deleting a pet profile from Wheeky immediately deletes all associated weight records, vet logs, feeding plans, expense entries, and photos from your device's local database.
• App Uninstallation: Deleting the Wheeky app from your iOS device permanently erases all locally stored data and configuration files from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Wheeky is family-friendly and suitable for pet lovers of all ages. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or store personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Because all care data remains local to your device, the App is safe and compliant with child privacy regulations (including COPPA and GDPR-K).

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Depending on your region, data protection regulations grant you certain rights:

• Right of Access & Portability: All your data resides locally on your device, accessible directly within the App.
• Right to Erasure / Deletion: You can delete any or all data at any moment directly within the App or by uninstalling the application.
• Right to Revoke Permissions: You can modify or revoke Camera, Photo Library, and Notification permissions at any time via your device's Settings > Wheeky.
• Subscription Management: You can manage, downgrade, or cancel your Wheeky Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements or changes in our app features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
