Pregnancy App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how all personal data processed within Pregnancy App ("App" or "we") is collected, used, stored, and shared. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms of this policy. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically; we will notify you via in-app notifications or email when we make significant changes.

Important: Pregnancy App does not store your health and daily data on its own servers. All content is stored encrypted on your device and remains under your control only. Data is not shared with the developer or third parties unless you choose to manually back up or transfer it.

1. Data We Collect

Special category health data (e.g., weight, contractions, kick counts) is only processed when manually entered by you, and this data is stored encrypted on your device.

If data is to be synchronized through iCloud or a similar backup service, this preference is made at the device level; the developer does not access this content.

2. How We Use Your Data

1. To provide personalized content, recommendations, and reminders based on pregnancy week.
2. To operate tools such as Kick Counter, Contraction Timer, Weight Tracker, Mood Tracker.
3. To perform anonymized usage analysis to improve the app experience (only through aggregate metrics provided by Apple/RevenueCat).
4. To verify and manage premium subscription purchases.
5. To respond to support and feedback requests you submit.
6. To fulfill our legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting records).

3. Legal Basis

• Explicit consent: Your special category personal data is only processed within the scope of the explicit consent you provide.
• Contract performance: Data necessary to provide app features and manage your accounts.
• Legitimate interest: Product security, fraud detection, and development activities.
• Legal obligation: Legal requirements such as maintaining tax and billing records.

Health, daily, photo, and other sensitive content is not shared with any third parties; this data is not sent outside your device.

5. Data Retention Periods

• Pregnancy week, kick/contraction records, weight and mood entries: Stored only on your device and removed when you delete the app or clear the data.
• Purchase records: May be retained by Apple and/or RevenueCat for up to 10 years for tax and legal requirements; the developer only accesses these records to verify your subscription.
• Support requests: Up to 2 years from the closure of the request.
• Anonymized analytics data: May be retained indefinitely as it does not contain personal data.

You can use the controls within the App or device settings to manage your data. For deletion requests regarding records outside the developer's control, such as purchase history, you will be directed to the relevant service provider (Apple/RevenueCat); if you contact us, we will help direct your request.

6. International Data Transfers

Since your health and daily content does not leave your device, international data transfer is not applicable. Apple/RevenueCat infrastructure may be used for purchase verification purposes; these services are protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses or similar mechanisms.

7. Security

• Data is protected on your device through Apple's file system and Keychain encryption; the developer does not maintain copies on their own servers.
• Sensitive data is only processed within the device, so it is not sent over the network; exceptional cases such as purchase verification are protected with HTTPS.
• In-app lock, biometric authentication, or password (if available) provides an additional security layer.
• Crash and performance logs are only reviewed in anonymized form.

However, please remember that no digital system is 100% secure. If you notice any suspicious activity, please contact us immediately.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not designed for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from this age group. If we discover that we have processed data belonging to a child under 13, we will immediately delete the data and close the relevant accounts.

9. Your Rights

Depending on the data protection legislation of your country, you may have the following rights:

• Access to your data and request a copy
• Request correction/update of data
• Request deletion or anonymization of data
• Request restriction of processing
• Right to data portability (request data in structured, machine-readable format)
• Withdraw explicit consent at any time
• File a complaint with supervisory authorities (KVKK Authority for Turkey, relevant data protection authority for the EU)

We respond to your requests within 30 days after verifying your identity.

10. Data Subject Controls

• You can update your consent preferences, export, or delete your data from the Settings > Privacy section within the App.
• You can delete individual records such as kicks/contractions, weight, mood.
• You can edit or remove photo or daily entries.
